I have question. My sister and her family is coming to Canada as a landed immigrant in May. Now as per the rule they have to come with certain amount of C$ .

I want to send them Certified cheque to my sister husband's name. I do not want to transfer the cash. What is the way? Cheque or DD..Please any suggestions..

Send them Certified Cheque.

Interesting, this is one of many cases I have heard, that people need to carry funds with them while entering Canada. Their relatives help in this way.

Canadian Government wants our money and give them the money already they have in their economy.
