I think we should launch a number of small claim cases against ICICI. If they do not deposit you funds in a few days, they get to earn and keep interest on your money!

Also ICICI rates just come down last month.

See I am not supporting ICICI, I know there CSR are really bad in service
Point is, do you need good int rates or good customer service?

For your info, I can give you tons of examples where even Canadian / US based companies given or giving bad customer service

I did not come to ICICI for int rates.. I bank with PC which has been giving me 4% on savings..

I opened the account for money transfer as i have ICICI account in india..



BTW seems like lot of us are having problems with ICICI bank and the theme is very common... Money not showing up for a long time for cheques or money transfers..


Finally after 3 calls to irritating customer service agents the cheque has shown up on my account... Time for crediting cheque money 28 days after money was withdrawn from my other account WOW Are we going backwards as far as banking goes.


BTW lets ask all the ppl who have faced issues with ICICI bank to post their issues here..

We can try and forward it to MVKamath.. i have heard he responds to customer complaints..

Address all your gripes to the newspapers. You will get your opinions voiced and mayhap ICICI will improve their service.

Please see link where an issue re OCI fees was taken up by the newspapers and finally about 10 days ago an option was granted to pay the OCI fees in USD.

Please do not underestimate the power of the press and that of a professionally written email to the concerned people at icici voicing your grievances. (see the link to the OCI fees on canadiandesi and also note the difference- OCI fees revision is a one-time commitment so will stick- improvement of ongoing service though may be ameliorated at the otuset and may once again deteriorate and they will have to be pricked every once in a while to keep them on their toes).
