In germany, you always feel like a 2 nd. class citizen. When i was in germany in 1979 and more recently in 2001, desi people told me that the police will stop you (when you are a person of color) and check your papers. it does not happen in Canada at all. you will feel very comfortable here.
How did you manage in germany with those guys? do you know german?

You suffer from some kind of a deep inferiority complex. I was in Germany in 1997. I did not suffer any such thing. In fact, folks there were very nice.. Yeah the kids were kind of unruly but thats abt it. One of my best friends is a german and I know his entire family and a few members of his extended family as well.
If you feel you are "Unducated" then maybe you sould get some education in Canada.
Satya regarding your question. You should have an interview waiver. You can apply within one week of landing in Canada. I think you know how to go abt doing that. Your research experience etc can be shown as full time work. However, make sure you have those letters written in English and not in German
