You should provide more information, especially the type of car you want to insure.

Also your marital status makes a difference, and whether you have had previous driving experience in some other country or not.

Insurance is determined on many factors..
As patrickm said,
1) Type of car..example SUV, sedan, sports...
2) If the car is 4 door or 2 door...
3) Marital status..
4) Location (GTA tends to be more expensive)
5) Driving experience
6) Driving Record
7) Distance you drive to work...
Etc etc...

Always shop for insurance...you will get a different rate from every insurance broker...
I would suggest that you should try TD Canada Trust insurance first...i got the cheapest insurance from them...many people recommended it to me.
