Low income on W2

I am on H1B and have applied for Canadian Immigration and have received medical forms with interview waiver. But CIC has asked me to submit w2 income tax return for last 4 years. I have very low income on one of the w2 forms. Please let me know if this will create any problem? Had any one gone through such situation? I would appreciate any help.

I am not an expert but as I understand CIC does not decide on your immigration application based on your income, all they want to see if you have been filing your taxes on time and have sufficient fund to bring into Canada.

As long as you can how proof of funds that you are bringing with you, they should not be concerned about the income on your W2.

Thanks for your information. Just concerned why they have asked to submit w2s in my case. I came to know from my friends, that they have not been asked to submit w2s. Please through some lights.
