I will be completing the immigration formalities and landing in Canada in the next 6 months. I am a CFA,FRM ( both from US Based institutes) and CA from India and currently have 7 years post qualificaiton experience in the banking/ financials services industry.

Want your guidance as to the following :

2. How do I go about searching for jobs ?
3.Which is the best time to land in Toronto for such jobs ?
4. Best place to stay and search for such jobs ?

Entry level jobs in these fields are a dime a dozen. Very easy to find. However with your qualifications, you should be able to score a better than entry level position. All depends on your ability to project yourself and the confidence you effuse at the interview and the availability of such jobs and number of applicants. Many factors are involved.

Entry level positions are from $14-$17 an hour. However, I do know new settlers who have scored jobs at double that rate.
