Hello friends,
I have never visited Canada in my life but have heard lot of good things about this place. I cannot give any personal comments on Canadian Lifestyle but since people have different opinions about it, so I want to ask some questions and I hope people will give proper answers.
Q1) The unemployment ratio in Canada is pretty high, many immigrants and residents are not able to get a job of their choice ,so on what basis do people say its a nice and a very good place? the basic requirment of every individual is a job, even if a person lives in a place like Paradise but he doesnot have a respectable and a good job over their ,then what is the use of that place?
Q2) The air pressure is pretty low in Canada, a person having breathing problems cannot live and survive in this region, and their are greater chances for a normal person to catch breathing problem. Don't you think these are some of the very important things related to our health?
Please note that I am not attacking the interest of Canada, I like Canada because Canadian people are as beautiful as the Canadian Mountainous regions.
But I am asking these questions inorder to have a proper understanding of this region since I have never been there.
Regards,

Welcome
Q1) The unemployment ratio in Canada is pretty high, many immigrants and residents are not able to get a job of their choice ,so on what basis do people say its a nice and a very good place? the basic requirment of every individual is a job, even if a person lives in a place like Paradise but he doesnot have a respectable and a good job over their ,then what is the use of that place?
Answer: The basic requirements of an individual are food , shelter and clothing. Canada provides adequate quantities of all three. It ain't paradise but it's livable. Most immigrants come over here to ensure a better life for their children. They feel that Canada is better for their child than their home country.
Q2) The air pressure is pretty low in Canada, a person having breathing problems cannot live and survive in this region, and their are greater chances for a normal person to catch breathing problem. Don't you think these are some of the very important things related to our health?
Answer: Last time I checked the barometric pressure was about the same in Toronto and Karachi. People do get a regular supply of oxygen. Yes ,a higher proportion of people do suffer from respiratory ailments here than in Asia , but then people don't seem to mind it so much.
"Canadian people are as beautiful as the Canadian Mountainous regions."
What are you talking about????? You are in for a RUDE shock when you land in Toronto. This ain't California.

if one goes to areas where their expertise is nereded rather than getting stuck in large cities like toronto vancuver etc. then you will gett employed easily. we come to a new country for a better life. so we need to make changes to our life style.
as for preasure . ther is no pollution . my son had asthama in india . he has had not one attack in the 5 yrs we have been in north america
think about it
Janmeja, may I ask what is your profession? I am looking for better IT opportunities in Halifax.
No Canada is not better..
it's all in the perspective.. If people are coming from places where they had more corruption, no safty net, and equally bad job market.. or atleast perception of bad job market.. they look at Canada and see it ain't that bad..
As far as Asia and Africa is concerned.. Except for IT person from India .. opportunities and chances are indeed greater here in Canada in the long run..
Pakistan is gone to terrorist Jihadis and dogs..
Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka are basket cases..
Nepal,Bhutan, vast parts of Africa are beset with endemic poverty and almost no professional economy..
Middle-East, China are beset with political uncertinity, lack of human rights and personal freedom.. All in all Indian middle class has it slightly better for past 5 yrs with rising wages, booming market, perception of political stability and strong safty net thro' social networks and decent human rights and opportunities.. so if you are and Indian IT person in early 30s or late 20s.. you would be fool to waste your 1 chance on Canada.. for others.. well it ain't that bad.. it will be if this continues.. but atleast now it isn't.. where else do you get free healthcare, child benefits.. and sundry.. so people come.. and of-course there is that thing of Western passport opening up world after 3 yrs.. or again.. perception of it
