Hello CD members,

I am trying to purchase a web-cam and not very much familiar about the features I have to consider while purchase.

What I can tell is it should be cost effective and should provide me and person looking me a good picture whether it is full of light or little dark background. In short, should not have any viewing problems.

I did saw on tigerdirect.ca and not sure should I go for it or not.

Just let me know is it advisable to buy or not. Check it out at:

It would be a very basic webcam. Don't buy this.

go in for Logitech. Depending on your budget, I would suggest the Logitech quickcam zoom available in Futureshop around $120. Otherwise Logitech Quickcam communicate, retails at $79.99.

Quality of picture in any webcam for that matter would not be as good as a camera. It is also affected by Internet traffic, type of lens used, etc.
