Hi CD friends,
Any one in Toronto/richmondhill/markham/ scarborough got their pictures done for OCI?
The pictures I pronted from e passport photo did not work it seems , they are asking for new pictures.
Please share your location who did 35mmx 35mm pictures

Please refer to one more photo specification when you are applying. The crown to chin(hair to chin) must measure 3mm and the face should cover 80% of the photo graph.

there is a Store in WoodSide Square (McCowan and Finch). It is run by a Gujrati . He takes 5 pictures for $8.

Try Costco...if you dont have membership, you can call me. I will help you.
But I still believe the photos from FreePassportphotos.com can used if they are of the right size.

Govt. of India has different guidelines and VFS has different. I am sure if someone gets a chance to talk to Consulate general and ask about the photo specs, she may have some other.
Few examples:

It should have light color background (not white) without border
with front view of person’s head and shoulders showing the full
face in the middle of the photograph. ""

VFS, Brampton rejected my friend's application twice, just for the photo reason. Then he went to the photo studio, just few shops away from VFS office and the photographer took the pictures on white background and face covering not more than 65-70%. My friend told him that it will be rejected. The photographer advised my friend to go there and mention that he got his photos done from '.......' studio.
Guess what?
His photo was accepted this time and he has already got his passport back.
