I am staying in US Since 5 years. We have recently received our Canadian Immigration. I am currently busy with my current assignment here in US. I am planning to goto Canada apply my PR and complete my H1 B & H4 Visa Stamping formalities and come back to US. According to my Canadian Immigrant status , I have to land in Toronto. I saw a statement in Canadian US Consulate Website saying "Resident of a partucular city should apply only in their city's US consulate ? Can I land in Toronto and then apply for H1 visa in ottawa?Would appreciate if any of you guys answer these questions.

Nothing prevents you from going and settling in Ottawa. You can apply for H1 from Ottawa.
