Hi,
Wanted your inputs on this...
My friend has arrived in USA on US Visitors Visa. He is a Indian Citizen. He wants to come to Toronto for a week but doesn't have Canadian Visitors Visa.
Will he get Canadian Visa on Boarder? Or will he need to apply at the Canadian Consulate in US? If so, what documents will he need? Does anyone know, if we have Canadian Consulate in BOSTON and how long does it take to get visitors visa?
Thanks,
Deepak

Forget it. It is almost impossible to get Canadian visit visa from other than your home country.

Actually, depending on how long your friend's US visitor visa is valid, he/she should be able to get a canadian visitor visa from a Canadian Consulate in the US, however it may not be easy. Why don't you search the web for consulate locations instead of posting it here?
I know atleastdistinct 6 families being rejected from 2003-2006 from NY, LA, Buffalo & Chicago. They use to be considerate before 9/11. Now things changed and they want you to apply from the home country.
My father in law did manage to get the VISA in 2000.
