Thanks for your phone call buddy..i really appreciate it.I called the U.S consulate guys after we talked over phone,and they too said I should see if there's any cancellation and book it or else inform them back one week before my scheduled departure.But,I am not finding it where to look for the cancellation on the http://www.nvars.com" rel="nofollow">LINK site,if anybody knows send me the link please.

When you create a new session on the site, you can see which are the available ones.
Therefore, if there has been any cancellation, you will be able to see that slot as free.

I am in the same boat....I needed an appointment for september but the earliest one available was oct 4th.....the problem with preponing the appointment is everytime u log into the appointment system, it needs u to cancel the current appt before rescheduling or even seeing the availablity of other appointments. Seems kinda stupid ..at least one should get to see other available dates before they are expected to cancel and reschedule otherwise you end up losing the current appointment also.
