it takes around 4- 6 weeks

I have found that it also depends on which port you landed at.
On average, it takes between 3 to 6 weeks.
We got ours in a little over 2 weeks, but that was over a year back.

I understand that you applied from UK. I too wish to apply from here and have some concerns,

It would be helpful to me and many other like me, if you could share your experience of applying from here, (UK);

i.e Any major problems you faced? How long does it take to get the PCC from Met Pol ? and what is the procedure involved? Is it worth applying from here? Did you had to take IELTS if so is it recomended to take from here or from back home while in holidays? How long does it take form the day you applied.. I think it would really help!!
