Hi All,
I have lost my wallet in TTC RT sinceAug which has everything inside means Credit card,Bank Cards, SIN card, Health card, Licence, Point cards(Wester Union/CAA).
Below is the steps that i took to avoid some identity heft
1) Cancelled credit/bank card and got issued new on
2) Asking for new health/ licence card
3) All new point cards
4) Called Eqifax, Transunion and experion to put an credit alert
5) Apply for SIN card.
can anybody suggest me what else i will have to do?.
- Also i am worring about if somebody will use my SIN card for work, so is there anyway i can inform CCRA?

I can understand normally SIN card we are not carrying
But may be it was his first day at job & most employers wants to see Original SIN card

You guys are right that why would i carry the SIN Card. But i did a mistake and now wanted to protected from any fraud activity , so if you guys have any idea please let me know.
I called CCRA and they said they can not do much about it.

You can always get a duplicate SIN card from HRDC. There is a fee for it. SIN card is not an identity card and it very rare (almost NIL) that someone can misuse it. SIN card is only for the purpose of employment and tax and e
I always carry my SIN card in my wallet a matter of information. May be I should now put it elsewhere
On a side note : Where do desi's keep your passport / certificates etc.. within the house. Mine just lies around. But I have seen that many Gora's put all these in a tiny briefcase (with Lock). Once there was a fire drill in our apartment (composed of mainly Gora's) and Desi's / Chinese were the only one who ran out without any thing (meaning certificates / passports etc...)

I always keep my wallet in the front pockets instead of the back ones when taking public transit. I had this practice in India and following it here as well. This makes sure your wallet is always in your sight.
