There is very good course for new immigrants. I did my CO-OP course from St. Gabriel Adult Learning Center Brandon Gate, Malton, Mississauga.
Those aspire can contact the school. It is two month class room and 3 month voluntaty placement in the company.

A friend was in the program. He got a chance to work in the Ministry of Transportaion for about 4 months.

No.
He said usually the Ministry usually absorbs people from the co-op program, If there is an openng. During his time none came up.

What is the advantage of doing this course?Please do advice.I did my diploma in Mech.Engg.Whether this will be useful for me? I'm a new immigrant and staying at Mississauga.
