Just to settle an argument between my spouse and myself. I claim that almost every desi in Canada must be lying on their returns at least a little bit. (not declaring Indian investment income , etc.) Anyone here file a COMPLETELY honest tax return?
Well if you could differentiate between tax planning and tax cheating. Most canadians can do tax planning the previous year to minimize on tax owing the govt
Please do not speak about all desi canadians so confidently......do not expect that all other desi canadians do the same thing what you do...
Tell me how to cheat with Canada Revenue on Canadian Income 
because I do not have any income from India to cheat......

I am not sure about the desis but I am certain that ALL non-desis cheat on their income taxes - is your spouse a non-desi by the way!

By the way did you know that many desis sometimes file a tax return showing an income much higher than what they actually make??
