Actually Merc,(yaar, tumara naam aisa likh ke bada mazaa aataa hai boss, soch raha hoon ke Mercedes

), apun two half years ago going to Sarsstock showing Stones AC/DC and many others. Apun going not for Stones lakin for AC/DC and just to be part of big event and to be 'cool'. To be able to tolding people- arey boss I was there, yaar! Apun listening to 'Miss You'. Woh Justin Timberlake joining them in singing that. Lakin as soon as they come on apun making for exit to beat later rush (arey, they were not bad- the Canadian Band 'Rush'). So I only listening to 2 Stones song- nothing much yaar.
Apun dling Honky Tonk and others you tolding lakin apla cup of chai nahin boss.
Apun still cannot figuring out why everybody liking them so much. They also bag half time entertainment for Super Bowl. (I am reading somewhere nice write-up on Stones by desi couple and apun thinking saalaa they must be chakram). Last time woh Paul McCartney coming at half time. Paul phir bhi Ok. Must be something there. He is only billionaire singer/songwriter they r tolding.
And other band u r tolding u like 'Queen'- they r coming to perform here at ACC on Mar 16 2006 lakin w/o apla Farukh bhai. Somebody like Paul Jones yaan aisa kuch from Bad Co will be replacing him. Kya boss u r thinking anybody can to replace apla Bawaji? Apun thinking not. That was one maha band yaar!
Also if you r liking AC/DC- one good DVD is 'Live at Donnington'. Not one slow track yaar! Ekdum solid punching. Kya solid guitaring. And he playing with tongue. Mast saalaa

Another band (ac dc) I am not liking at all. their main thing is the guitar sound and rhythm section. angus young guitar into amp is one of the most famous sounds ever.

Jagger is one of the all time great frontmen in rock. see the way he moves on stage. That has been copied endlessly till today. i give him that. Keith richards has a unique guitar sound. very much loved in the guitar playing community. those two carry the day.
Beatles are cool. always. best ever. the only quality of music that everyone can appreciate is how good it feels to listen to a song (and melody). Beatles beat everyone else. No. 1.

Paul rogers from Bad co. I might go see them if ticket price is to be low.
else i will buy concert dvd and enjoy home. Brian may ko ek bar live dekhne to mangta. fantastic guitar sound. Arey Farukh bhai was the real deal. soooooo talented and a fantastic showman, imo better than jagger.
BTW, paul rogers has great vocals. I heard he is doing a great job replacing Farukh.

They showed it on much more music. ok. i got bored after a while. no variety.
Get the new live aid (original) dvd. some great footage of Balsara ji.
There are other great concerts at donnington, must see (or hear).
iron maiden , metallica or many other metal/rock bands to be performing there in the past.
Rush - ekdum mast band. pride of Canada.
