Hello

Does anyone know how I can get a long form of a canadian citizenship certificate? It must show the actual date that citizenship was granted. I was born here in Canada and I've always had citizenship , but I need this certificate. Thank you.

your pastport is your certificate. that crt is only given to ppl who are made citizens.

Janmeja, if the person already had a passport, why would they ask for a certificate.. ?

your birth certificate is proof f citizenship. you would need that to apply for passport and then that would be your citizenship proof. they day you became citizen is the day you were born.

Long form of citizenship certificate?

Birth certificate has long form and short form.

Never heard of a long form for citizenship certificate before.

Passport is not citizenship proof according to passport canada website.
