I tried to get the answer from VFS centre in Delhi (by phone), but they were not able to answer if Immigration Section at New Delhi still accepts applications via mail. I don't live near to any VFS centres and was planning to apply for visitor visa via mail service.
Has anyone recently applied using mail service or have any idea about it?
If yes, it would be great if you could give me the mailing address of the visa processing centre and mode of payment.

VFS does not accept visitors visa appln by mail.Someone has to go to the nearest VFS personally to deliver the application. I did get the application submitted recently for my parents thru my cousin in India ------ kamal

Get a Travel Agency to do it for you - most decent Travel Agencies have branches in cities with consulates. That way, you avoid having to go there just to submit your application.
