For those of you who have received your Bachelor and Master degrees in the US,
Did you have to take IELTS to get a Canadian PR?
Did anyone of you claim any points under French language? If yes, how did you prove that? Did the consular interview in French (I am talking about the Federal process, not the Quebec one)?
Thanks
IELTS has been made mandatory. But I have read posts wherein people have submitted other documentary proof in support of their language proficiency. Don't know if they have got their PR basis that. But in any case its an easy test especially when u have studied in the US. So just take it !!
For French - U have to provide TEF score to claim points.
All the best...
Rajrani,
Thank you so much for your message. I am thinking about taking IELTS soon.
I would still love to hear from those of you who have taken IELTS to get your PRs or got it without IELTS.
