Hello,

Currently i am staying in USA and my husband is staying in India.
Both our situations are uncertain as we both want to be together soon, either he might land up in USA shortly or i might go back to India after trying possibilities out here for him.
In this situation we are planning to apply for Candian PR as we want to settle in Canada in future.

Looking at the points we both hold high chances of being a principle applicant.


Please advise on who can apply from where in this uncertainity.

as "for where to apply", if you entered USA legally for at least one year [not as a visitor but student or worker], you may apply via Buffalo.

I have couple of more questions regarding immigration points.My relative (my husband's uncle) is a canadian citizen but right now he is not physically present in Canada as he works for a consulting firm in Saudi.He is planning to return to Canada after this job period.

Can i claim for the relative points when he is not around whereas he is ready to provide any kind of documentation for our sake to the counsalate.

Please advise us on how to proceed with this as i am not getting any reply both from New Delhi office and Buffalo for that matter.
