Dear Massood ji,
I am an international student in Canada doing Masters in University of Saskatchewan in the Engg field and I am planning to apply for PR under skilled worker category. I have two questions:
I have a relative in Canada who is my fathers first cousin, he is a citizen and well settled in canada, he is ready to give me letter of support stating that he will take my responsibility. As he is not my direct blood relative, my first question is
weather I will be able to get 5 points under the Category " Family in canada" in adaptation?
My second question is:
I have a certificate of level-1 in french from canada(USASK), will I be able to get 2 points for it or I have to undertake the french language test?
Looking forward to your reply,
Regards
Pankaj Khanna
1. no pts for dad's cousin
2. you have to take TEF to claim pts for french.
