Hello Masoodji,
I need your valuable inputs on the topic of sponsoring my spouse:
I am a PR in Canada, and I have recently got married and my spouse is in India, my spouse has already applied for canadian immigration 18 months back, and now i a little confused as to how to convert her Case from Skilled worker category to Family class or shoule I cancel my spouse's skilled worker PR application India and apply afresh under family class??
And also can shed some light as to when do we need to submit the Police Clearence Certificate and how many times??
Please help me sir, your help is most appreciated..
Thank You,
Metroguy
The cost of H1-B approximately in (USD) could be ;

$ 500.00 - Antifraud and detention fee etc
$ 1500.00 - Employer funded training fee etc
$ 190.00 - H1 filing fees ( form I-129 petition)
$ 100.00 - Credential evaluation fess - some employers charge.
$ 200.00 - Miscellaneous fees /charges - some employers charge.
---------------
$ 2490.00 only cost towards H1-b approval.
+ visa fees at US consulates and incidental expenses .
If the sponsoring employer has LESS than 25 employees on payroll

$ 1740.00 only cost towards H1-b approval.
+ visa fees at US consulates and incidental expenses .
PLUS
Optional: depending on the employer and your urgency needs
$ 800.00 minimum - lawyers fees - if the employer has a strong HR
person who can handle this then you do not have to pay
$ 1000.00 premium processing fees - for expidited service from USCIS.
--------------
so you are looking at around USD $4000.00 on a lower side. If the employer does not charge any additional amounts.
Now on your qualifications and H1 visa chances etc,
read more on requirements and on criteria etc
