Looks like Canada is foloowing India when it comes to coalition politics. Tories could not muster majority, now need to depend on NDP and the Bloc. Not sure how this will work for the next four(?) years, if at all it works.
As someone suggested, there need to be a immigrant category for "skilled politician". Canada can attract number of them from India who can teach political survival to Canadian politicians. JJ, Karunakaran, Arjun Singh, the list goes on.
