Hi All,
I need advise, please few days before one lady came and told us that she want to ask about expenses because they survey how people are fulfilling needs.
She asked lot questions about expenses .
Now she called us and told that our expenses are more then the income(205) ,though we didnt give her any information about accounts or SIN.
Is there will be any problem from Stat . Canada.

I don't think there should be any problem.Next time if any one comes ask their ID to decide.And that's good that you haven't passed them SIN and date of birth info

I agree with the previous poster.

Statistics Canada develops statistics to show canadians about different aspects of Canadian society. They do not report your information to Revenue Canada etc. However , it is prudent to ID anyone asking for personal information, request a card etc if you are not comfortable. You can also ask why such information is required (ie/ if too many questions are being asked or you are not comfortable again)
