Saravana Bhavan is not a great place to eat if you are a south indian who has tasted dosas and idlis the way they are made in reataurants back home. It isn't even close. The breakfast buffet is terrible and my wife and I almost puked at the first bite into their so called "vada". The mini idlis are gross.

If you are a starved person without any clues as to how tasty a dosa or idli can actually be, you will love this place since your expectations are below par.

As for me, SB = junk.
