Reachme... I will do that, Is there some way I can contact ya if (and when) I land there ?.. Though I am familiar with Bangalore, I still have a lot of places to visit and dine.
I like Kamath's (the one near Sapna theatre on Kempe Gowda road)...
I distinctly remember taking my German friend there. He was a die hard Vegan and was wondering what he would eat once he landed in India. Well, he was devouring those curries after he visited Kamat's !

There is also a good vegetarian eat out en-route to IISc (near Malleshwaram). It is cheap (in price) and they have an excellent Veg. thali !

Well I am not sure about his English.. and comments as I never ate at Chennai Chef.. but I would sure recommend you to download this free utility which blocks the Caps Lock key on the computer.

Ottawa_Nerd, sure, you can get in touch with me when you are in Bangalore..just depends when you are planning to get here. I have just completed my medicals and if all goes well, i may be in Canada by the end of the year and then i might be the one to get in touch with you for good dining places there!
My husband is a complete foodie and he will be most happy to suggest and accompany you to all the good eating joints here. Bangalore is definitely a gastronomist's delight.
