My experience with Madras Dosa Hut was terrible to say the least. We had the misfortune of having \"lunch\" there - this was about 3 years back . Never been there again.

It looked like the place hadn't been cleaned in ages, the mop bucket was there in full sight, with dirty water (from the last time the place had been cleaned). The dosa was terrible, more like a papad rather than a dosa. To make things worse, service was virtually non existent.

Given that experience, I would rather starve than go to Madras Dosa Hut.

BTW, has anyone tasted the food at Madras Udipi cafe in Mississauga (Hurantario & Burhanthorpe)?

I just had a really Bad experince in Madras Dosa Hut. Me and wife went for dinner first time we ordered Vada Sambhar/ Masala Dosa /Uttapam.

Vada in sambhar was cold, just out of freezer/Masala Dosa was burned and Uttapam was smelling egg, we just made aware server that it smell egg...they responded carelessly we cook seperate...we just tried a bite or two...but It was horrible..couldn't take it...It was the worst food we ever had..

Not to cause any trouble for server we paid first as a customer.. and than asked for manager...server connected to owner Logeswary Kubendran...the manner he talk is, Instead of being sorry or kind..he said well you can get another dosa....we told no.. we can't take it our mood is all spoiled. He never offered for refund or said sorry...

I would like to compaint in better business bureau...any one can direct me how to go about it

I grew up eating dosas and my experience with with Madras Dosa Hut was horrible to……We were 8 of us who went for late lunch and everything we ordered was horrible, what a waste of money.
I live very close to Madras Udipi Café and been there numerous times…….. their food is very good. You should try their weekend brunch buffet, EXCELLENT………
Anjappar’s quality has gone down considerabily……….
Say not to Madras Dosa Hut……….

My wife and I are from Bangalore. Once you have had dosas (and other stuff like idlis, vadas) there, all these joints in Toronto are utter crap. Anjappar's coffee is Bru, Nescafe (instant coffee) for crying out loud. And a fellow CD here claimed it was pure filter coffee. That's just a load of horse shit.

And restaurants that use names like "Udipi", "Madras" only do that to entice customers. WTF? Putting Madras and Udipi together should be an easy giveaway in any case!

There's a gutter-hole on Gerrard called Udipi something. I asked the owner if he was from Udipi. Dumbass didn't know much about the place. He was a sinhalese married to a Keralite. Seriously, WTF?
