We're students at McMaster University and have gathered a small desi community here. All members and executive committee are undergrad. students and we arrange get togethers every now and then, taking time out of school work and putting in lot of effort, to keep a sense of "apna-pan" in day-to-day Canadian Life.

One of our yearly events is a Comedy-Stage play, which is the most awaited event throughout the school year. Students spend numerous hours rehersing after classes and labs, practising different moves, arranging and setting up all the stage and other light/sound equipments, all this while carrying full school load and working part-time in most cases.

Last year our play was a total sold out and the DVD that was released remains extremely popular. To meet the demands, we're holding this event (play named: Shugal-e-Azam) at two consecutive days this year (March 23 and March 24) so that we can accomodate more people (300+). However we are in dire need of some support to arrange for this play. This is a total non-profit event and all profit will be given to charity as arranged with McMaster MSU.
