Here's a terrible mistake you and I have made MR - advised someone to change his profession without taking proper care to safeguard ourselves. What if TK changes his profession and instead of 125/hr from 12.50, he reaches 1.25/hr??? (because he will actually write stressing on the wrong things like 'free refreshments' rather than the right thing - 'seminar for engineering professionals'.

So to safeguard myself, I would add that in case TK follows your or my advice and suffers losses not anticipated, he is only entitled to reimbursement of charges he has paid for our advice - LESS processing charges for reimbursement.

I may leave early from my office on Thursday (6:00pm) but i will compensate on fridy by working mega late.
Yes. There are FREE lunches in Canada. Once i got $20 for filling a 1 hr. survey at home. Second by the learn save telephonic interview for 20 mins . i earned $10. I see this more of a free networking oppertunity. I may be able to speak to some "Gora's". At present in my office, i donot get a chance to speak to any Gora's face to face and i want to improve my communication skills.
TK
Sidenote : I also ended up paying by thinking it is free lunch.
for eg. I filled up a BOM credit card for a $1 gift. It turned out later that it was an annual fee card and i paid $15 on my first bill.
Second, during my wife delivery i parked the car outside the hospital and they put a $30 Parking ticket each day. I didn not remove the parking ticket thinking that when the parking inspector came the next time, he will think that he just ticketed my car and leave it free. I was wrong. 3 days he ticketed me and on the 4 th day he towed my car. The expenses was $400. I then found out that parking for a week in taht hospital's under ground parking was $40.

TK Saab,

You are immpossible...:D :D

However, whatever I said should help you earn a more respectful life. Just concentrate more on your work than these free lunches and maybe you will make less mistakes in your work, get rewarded or referred by your client to some better / higher paying job etc...etc..it requires radical change in your thinking if you can manage.

All the best.

Hiren

And you left the hospital before you got that 400$ back? I say try to find another excuse to get in there and stay there until you recover the $400. Much like your 'leaving Canada' conditions. Maybe you can even add to the 'canada owes me' tally.

Discalimer: :)
Intended only for TK as only he has the abilities to make this work.

Thanks for your advise. In fact i an very very disppointed with Canada and the tribulations that it has taken a toll on my work. As long as i will be paid $12.5 an hour for a professional job, i can never be happy. If i get a $30 per hour job in Canada and i can speak to people around me without being afraid of the boss then maybe i can work better and without mistakes.

Although this isn't as bad as the "leftovers at Ikea", its getting close. Please don't post this kind of stuff, not everybody is so desperate for free refreshments.

If you're posting it as a joke, put it in the "Have fun" section. Otherwise don't post it at all.

Which confirms that your original post was not serious - the seminar is a hoax! or Not worth attending.
