I think this is their hatred towards NRI's as they know they will be kicked back to India once their contract end with BLS or just jealous that Canadian passport holder(Indians) got visa free access to most part of this planet
we Indians known to hate each other--if we can't find a fellow indian to hate then we start hating ourselves/our custure/religion - psedu-seculars in India are best example of selfhatred
It's almost 3 months since we applied for OCI
Status shows- file under process in embassy
Tried to call BLS few times, it take 20-30 minutes before someone pick call
each time they disconnected my call without saying anything
it's so frustrating.
anyone has similar experience with crazy BLS ?
I found the BLS people to be more professional than the Indian Embassy staff during my Passport cancellation / OCI process here in Brampton with a timely mailing as well.

I read this in the news 2 days back that the OCI card holders would not be asked to show their U Visa sticker any more in India streamlining the process - this created issues when OCI s had U sticker on their older Passports which they were not carrying .
The news item said it has come under immediate effect.

Finally we got our new OCI cards
it was extremely bad experience with BLS doing thru postal service....
Most BLS staff was unprofessional/unaware about their job -provided wrong info each time .
Great thing is our Consulate staff was helpful , when BLS not cooperating/replying my emails, I sent email directly to consulate & complaint about BLS --they responded & advised BLS to contact me ASAP.
anyone planning to apply for OCI - if possible don't use postal service-the -try to visit BLS personally.
