First, i got married and then I got divorced. Then i went back to get married in 2005 and i sponsered my husband in 2006. they stopped the processs after 4 months and they sent the file to Delhi. Afterwards, within a week they sent the papers back to Missisauga. They sent a letter to my husband and in the letter they said not to ask them anything for 1 year, and now it has been 3 years and they have not replied. I went to my area MP and they said the same thing, they said its still in process and they didnt reply. What should i do now? does anyone have any advice for me.

Dear Friends:

I sponsored my wife in Dec 2008 and received letter in 6 Jan 2009 about the file transfer to New Delhi. Now my wife got an interview call at New Delhi.

I dont know why they called for interview.

Pls guide me what kind of questions they ask and do she need to take Marriage Albums with her to the interview.

Anybody did spousal interview, please post me questions for preparation..

Your advice will be really appreciated...

I know majority of sponsporship cases are usually processed in 3-5 months time provided all the paperwork is in place. But few times, our fellow friends wants to know the timeline and dates when the application is sent to CHC

Here's my case
Application sent to CPC-mississauga = December 4, 2008
Acknowledgement Received about eligibility = December 27, 2008
File sent to CHC, Delhi - Jan 05, 2009
Processing at Delhi started - Jan 07, 2009
Passport request received - Feb 02, 2009
Passport sent to CHC, delhi - Feb 05, 2009
PR Visa Issued - March 19, 2009

File sent to CHC, Delhi - 28 April, 2009
Processing at Delhi started - 8 May, 2009
Passport request received - 2 June, 2009
Passport sent to CHC, delhi - 4 June, 2009
PR Visa Issued - 16 June, 2009

So, the whole process took 2.5 Months.

I am thankful to CD and the people who posted their case timelines. This will not reduce the time of your case but at least you can see the time lines of previous cases and it gives you an idea about when you can expect actions from CHC.

Guys kindly let me know whose application is in the process,and did any of you received response from CIC new delhi.

but from the forum,I noticed that we should get response with 30 days.
