i applied for my sponsoring my spouse on 15th march 2006 and have received a letter asking clarification regarding my income etc only on 2nd may . i send them immediately and the e-client ap status still says its in process .

apparently the timeline have changed and it takes 50 days for them to open the application kit and no acknowledgement letter is no longer sent, thats what i was informed by cic call centre.

waiting for any more updates on the same , but the file have not been send to india yet, do let me know what is the status of your case

I haven't got any letter form them yet but, My e-client status says that decision has been made and letter has been sent to me regarding that decision. I am just waiting fir this letter. My concern is E-client status says that they started processing on May-6th (which is Saturday) and letter was sent on May-6th itself. SoI am a bit littlebit worried and waiting for the letter(may ne tomorrow).

hi guys

my e client ststus changed to decision made today (may 10th 2006). however when i contacted cic call centre they informed that my file has onlybeen approved from cpc mississaugua and has been send to new delhi .

expecting the letter like u kishore , now all depends on new delhi, their time frame is less than 4 months but from other links on cd i understand that they start processing only after another 15 days of status changed to Decesion Made , so i am expecting her to get passport request only after another 1 month or so

thnx all for ur replies

I just talked to CIC agent and found out that sponsorship application has been approved and immigration application has been sent New Delhi consulate on Monday
so we are in the same boat. I am guessing it might take another two months to finish-off all requirements. All the best Kris

Hi Kishor, Mukherjee

I applied for my wife's sponsorship on 7th April 2006.

I have two questions.

1) How do you check e client status ?. Do you use your PR card # ?

2) Where can I find the contact information if going forward if I need to call them ?

Much appreciate your help
