Dear Massood,
My daughter made a landing last July and returned to India after getting her PR card. She got married last week in India, and now wishes to return to Toronto and sponsor her husband as soon as possible.
Please outline the procedure and let us know how soon she could expect her husband to be able to join her. In case we do this through an agent, would it simplify or speed up the procedure? What are the approximate costs?
Would appreciate your guidance.
Thanks and Regards
Margo

Try overtaking child's imagination
She can sponsor him and he'll be here in approx. 8-10 weeks [if there's no complication]

Many thanks Massood and JD.
My daughter wishes to be in India for a month or two. Does she need to return to Canada before beginning the sponsorship process or is there a way she can do it when she is in Mumbai?
Thanks and regards
Margo

What's a neighborhood office?
It is a community office where ex - govt. officials volunteer for various services. You can get your documents notorised there. They help you in filling up form for sponsorships, refugee or any other help an immigrant or refugee requires. If legal help is required they arrange for same or if representation at any govt. office or court is required they assists you. In nut shell they provide a hell lot of services free of cost and charge only govt. fees if applicable.
