I am from punjab; and we sikhs live there. but I still remember other guys pointing to us as 12'oclock. and it was really a pain, when someone do this without knowing the truth behind it.
so what was the pain associated with word "n". that is what I am upto.........

My two cents:
The article you linked here put the word Negro in "quotations". This means that it was referencing a policy which was developed in a particular year.
That doesnt infer an association that blacks are still called Negro.
Also, the website is from Jamaica. What is their slant? what is their political view of Canada and its immigration policy?
Id take this article as a poll or opinion piece only.
