I will be moving to Toronto in next 5-6 months. My wife, currently she is working as a teacher in a High School and She has done M.Com, M.A., B.ED (Mumbai), is any transcript is required for her to bring inorder to get teaching job in Toronto? or any further certification course she has to complete to get teacher's job?

No indian degree is recognised in canada..I think she will have to complete a course there....else she can get a job of asst. teacher. I guess course name is OTQS....full form i am sorry i do not know....

You can go through that.If your wife has done B.Ed through regular college then she can register herself in OCT. http://www.oct.ca(Ontario" rel="nofollow">LINK college of teachers).They issue the licensing to teach in schools.You can check their website for further information.If she has done her B.Ed through distance education then she can not register herself in OCT.

Many thanks for your quick reply . My wife has done full time course in B.ED. I will check the website for more info.
Another thing.........bringing transcripts (how did you know that word by the way??? - in India we never talk about transcripts and most of us who come here are perplexed initially as what it could mean) with you in NOT going to be of much help. The universities and OCT require your university to send it directly to them in a sealed envelop - and please note the word DIRECTLY - which means you cannot get it from them in an envelop and mail/courier it yourself.
