Such things are a shame in western world but a pride in India. e.g. if you are raided by income tax dept in India that means you have lot of money and unlike western world you donot have to go to jail.
Lana, have you seen anybody in India saying with pride about income tax raid?
Are you trying to say Indians are shameless (probably you were also Indian few years back)?

I had also heard similar comments but from others (not jiskae ghaar chaapa pada). Regarding culture (It's part of our culture, this logic that everything is ok as long as you don't get caught.

Dunno about you but I've heard it many times in India
"array yaar, Income tax kaa chaapa pada hey, bahut maal hoga" and the envious looks. It's part of our culture, this logic that everything is ok as long as you don't get caught.
