Dear Massoodji,
I gathered from the experience of a PR applicant on another forum that an immigrant officer slashed points from someone's work experience because his experience was under different NOCs --as he had held varied jobs. http://www.immigration.ca/discussion/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12816
On what grounds can a visa officer do this? Nowhere on the CIC website is it written that the experience gathered has to be under a single NOC.
I am worried because I have a very varied background too, though each job that I've held in the last decade is listed in the NOC. -- obviously under different NOC numbers.
If varied experience is not what CIC wants, surely they should clearly inform prospective applicants about the same?
My IA comes up in Jan 2007. What steps can I take before that to ensure that the above does not happen in my case too?
Do let me know at your earliest
