Dear Massodjee
I had few questions regarding my immigration file -:
I have applied for my immigration in OCt 2004 and am awaiting my Initial Assessment anytime now
1. Can i go for my Medicals proactively?
2. I was working in an organization in India where my dad was also a partner; It was during my undergrad years and they have paid all my fees including my College fees my living expenses and fees for my studies in Canada; Is this valid work experience as per Cic?
3.During my Post graduate work permit i did 2 jobs 1st from 15th July to 15 Sept and next from 31 oct to 15 July;will this be counted as 1 year work experience? will i get 5 points for adaptability?
both of these jobs were permanent Full time jobs; will i get 10 points for arranged employement?
Thanking you in advance
Nishit

Sucess is not an accident it is a result of hardwork with intelligence.
1. no
2. Only if you genuinely worked 37.5 hrs a week and it was paid work
3. If you worked for a full year full-time legally in Canada, you'll get 5 points. No points for arranged employment.

Sir
I had few concerns and wanted to furthur clarify ur opinion.
2. I did genuienly work for my dad's firm and the work was more than 37.5 hrs but my compensation was not a fixed salary instead they used to pay for my living expenses and my educational expenses and they are also the payee and guarantor for my loan to study in Canada. Will i get points for this work experience.
3. For arranged employement the CIC website had the criteria when i had applied for immigration that if you are on a PGWP and you have a permanent job offer from your employer then it will be considered for Arranged employement.I had met both the criteria;so please advice will i be considered for 10 points on arranged employement.
4.In my PGWP i have worked from 15 july 2004 to 15 sept 2004 and 31 oct 2004 till 15 july 2005.Will this be considered as a one year full time experience.

2. get ready to do some serious explaining to convince CIC that you were being remunerated. You might to even go as far as the Federal Court.
3. 10
4. looks like one year to me [if the break was regular vacation/overseas visit].
