Want to sponsor my parents

Hello folks!

I just got my immigration and I recently went to vancouver for landing and now I am back in US where I work. I want to sponsor my parents to come to canada ASAP . Can I do so While I am working in US or I would have to physically start living in Canada in order to sponsor them? How long does the process take? How soon can they be here?

Please enlighten if somebody has the right information? Whats the procedure to do so?

You need to be physically present in Canada, in order to be eligible to sponsor your parents.

Also, I presume you need to show income earned in Canada (I am not certain on this point though).

How do i go about sponsoring my parents? How much time does it take for immigration? Can soemone suggest pls.
