Just to check whether the picnic is happening or not. Because I do not see any enthusiasm on this board.

Trying to save my time (and face) by showing up at dock just to find that nobody else is there

Hey Meghal,

The picnic is very much happening and I am still waiting on a few CD members to confirm whether they'll be able to make it or not. I'll send out an email tom morning to advise everybody regarding the number of people attending.

Hello CD members !
Have fun!
I had personally wanted to attend this picnic but due to certain personal commitments (informed the exact reason to DT) i will not be able to make it on Sunday. However i will be on centre island either on Saturday or on Monday, along with some of my associates.
Wishing all the CD members attending the picnic to having a wonderful time out there and much happiness and joy. Donot forget to take sunscreens/umbrellas along with you. Environment Canada predicts sudden showers/ lightning/ hail/ thunderstorms throughout the long weekend and so be prepared. If there is lightning, Please NEVER take shelter under a tree.

UPDATE!!!

Ok Everybody,

Looks like we'll have about 20 adults and 6 kids at the picnic tom. We'll meet at the Ferry on Queens Quay to get to center island. Let's plan to be there between 11:30 and 12:00 PM. If anybody needs directions or anything else, please give me a buzz at 416-879-8443.

Yes...the picnic did happen. There were around 6 families. We had a fun time. The place was crowded, but none the less we enjoyed...oh...and the weather was beautiful.

Thanks to all who could make it....and those that could not......hope to see you next time.
