Friends...I have to send some stuff back home to India and I will need to pack it up in a cardboard carton. Where can I go and buy cartons from here in North York/Toronto? Thankx for the help!

Any store selling stationery items should have them like Staples, etc. Also post offices have them.

Some are available free at grocery stores like Food Basics, etc, but may or may not be suitable for your purpose.
