Welcome to Canadian Desi website. And
Congratulations to you and you Husband.
"Wish you both a very Happy, Long and Prosperous Wedded Life".

"Your husband is a Canadian Permanent Resident. It takes a few days to get the application and fill them and do a proper filing with the authorities. He is a Canadian PR with proper accredition and he got married to you in India and is now back in Canada and has resumed in his work .As you say he did file your sponsorship papers, and it will take its own due course and you both will have to wait patiently till the process gets completed."

If he knows how to access internet and keep track of the movement of the files on the Canadian Immigration's website, he will know where the files are and what will be the next step it will be going through. Since you also know how to access the web, You both together can monitor the progress it makes on their site. You both can communicate with each other too and get all of the required materials ready BEFORE they ask you for all of the ORIGINAL documents. That way you will be one step ahead of them and ready to submit to them.

Know and keep all of the 'pertinent numbers' handy to check these from time to time on the net and keep track of the same.

Please see the Canadian Desi web site and read through a few of the correspondence that is there and get to know how the others are waiting patiently and how they are doing the monitoring there. You will also know the
sequence of events, the duration at each of the locations and then the final transfer to the Indian end. {If you do know any Police inspector or a sub-inspector there in your location do go and visit them there and tell them that your husband has sponsored you and applied for immigration to Canada and will be needing a police clearance at that end some time soon} The Canadian Government will do the required inquiries for the same there, and you do not have to do anything but to wait, as they follow their own channels and course.
You can also post your queries and also post the date of application etc., and inform the others too, so they will also know how quickly you came to Canada. Here is the link to the string:

"Absence does make heart grow fonder" and when you both get back together again, you both will get a lot more closer. You have to develop the patience and keep your mind occupied at all times with some activity. Stay cheerful and devoted. You will get the good news very soon. Until such time stay connected and communicate with each other as often as you both can.

wishing you both all the best,

Freddie.
