Hi All,
I am working as Project Manager in top IT MNC company in India with 7 years of experience and already applied for immigration to Canada.

Want to know what is the job market for Project Management /program management profiles in Canada? Will PMP certifcation will help in finding good job?

PMP Certifiation will certainly help. Without knowing your background, skills and experience it's difficult on comment on anything beyond that.

I am also a PMP with 8+ years of IT experience in all phases of SDLC.
Plan to open my own consultancy and work on contracts.

Any tips on how to go about opening my own corporation. Also I am applying for jobs via internet, however response is not very encouraging.

I have 6 yrs of experience in Networking / System Administration of all Major OS --- MCSE 2000/2003 , Exchange Server, Solaris, RedHat, Cisco , Pix , CheckPoint ...

Are these full-time positions you're applying for. Have you analysed why the response has not been very encouraging.
