congrats kapil on recieving passport back from chc. so you recieved your
passport back in 3 weeks. congrats

Can you tell me how you recieved your passport back?
through registered post or courier etc?

Hey Chittesh,

How come u r Processing started so early..i.e with in 10 days of u r Submition ?. if u r file is in Delhi on 25th Aug. then u should have got the request for passport..

Do contact the local post office for any letter from CHC- delhi...as they send thru. register post....My Stamped Visa Passport was laying in my neighbors house for a mth.

So its better to keep asking the postman for any letter from CHC.

My time table:
18th Aug : send to CPC M
25th Sep: Started Processing
27th Sep: got mail that documents moved to Delhi
09th Oct: got passport Request letter.

Hi chittesh

Has your wife recd her passport request or did u send any mail to delhi.

My wife application was moved to delhi and it says your application was started processing on 29 aug and still i have not recd the passport request.
I have send a mail to delhi.. but there is no response..

And to Sendavi

When did your application move to delhi and when did the ecas show as we have started processing your application.

My Mistake

Here is my timeline

Application mailed: 10 Aug
Application received: 14 Aug
Processing Started: 25 Sep
Application sent to Delhi: 25 Sep
Delhi received application: 4 Oct
Passport Request: ?? Havent requested yet
VISA Stamped: ??

I wanted some help from fellow members as to when can i expect the passport request.

Hey Senkavi2 i asked around and it looks like it takes atleast a month for passport request, you got the letter pretty soon. What was your secret. Also what city is your spouse in

Also what does your application show in when India started processing

hahhah there is no secret...My parents visitors visa got rejected even after showing properties worth 90 lac appx....i guess its because they are in Gujarat….i don’t know !!

I spouse is from Thanjor ,TN…. infect I forgot my spouse’s signature at one place in one Application and had spend that Application separately after a week.. was hoping that my Application will be returned back to me, but seems that it clicked….thanks to CPC M.

This is Chittesh's wife.
We were on the same timelines and unfortunately we have not still recd our Passport request letter, whats the progress on ur part have ur wife recd the passport back???????????

Hi,

Yes my wife got the visa stamped on the Passport...I don't belive it...it took 70 days total processing time.

here is my time line.

18th Aug : Send to CPC M

25th Sep: Started Processing

27th Sep: got mail that documents moved to Delhi

09th Oct: Got passport Request letter.

14th oct: Sent passport to Delhi

28th oct: Got Passport back.

Hope this works for all others, as its really hard to be away from spouse. All the best.
