Hello all,

My wife who is a canadian citizen is sponsoring me.I have already got the request to send my passport to CHC,New Delhi.I did send them but after sending my passport I again recieved a letter repeating the request for passport
I tried to log in to e client status , but have not been able to do so and have no idea what is going on.I have the file no which was on the letter I recieved from CHC requesting my passport.If I am not wrong is the no - B**** the IMM 5401 that we need to type while logging in to e client??

Any help will be appreciated.Thanks.

That is the file no ..Make sure you are not selecting the incorrect option , There is something called File no and Client #, make sure you are Selecting File#, and entering DOB with country of Nationality and last name correctly

I don't know where I am going wrong?

right... although the eclient wont probably tell you much...

as long as you sent the passport back and you know they got it (confirmation receipt or something like that) just relax... the duplicate letter was probably someone printing off two copies and both getting sent out...

Hi guy_00,

My wife ran into the same problem. I have sponsored her and she got a letter from CHC, New Delhi to send her passport on 20th May'2004 which she sent it on 21st May'2004. She got another letter requesting passport on 10th June'2004.

I am worried about the stuff happening with her immigration process. She has already informed CHC, Delhi (via fax) that she sent it on 21st May'2004 but I don't know whether that is enough or not?

I have came to know from your another post that you got visa. What steps did you follow? What was your timeline regarding passport request and receiving visa?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
