Who is at fault? The man who lured, or the girl and the family who were dumb enough to believe his statements, and infact even before that, approach a person for curing them in this manner????
If I tell you that if you part with say $20K and give it to me to conduct prayers for getting you a good job/career, and you believe in me and do give me the money, is it your fault or mine?

Where were the parents in all of this? The way the article was written, the girl was 'lured' - it implies that the parents were not informed of this 'cleansing ritual'. Of course, if they had been none of this would have happened, I don't believe any parent would let their daughters be used in this way knowingly.
Having said that, the girl was 16...and in my opinion, she should have known better...she must have had some warning bells go off inside her head when she got the invitation to go to the Econo Lodge with him, don't you think? She cannot have lead such a sheltered life as to not know exactly what was happening when asked to take her clothes off....
Two sides of the coin here but they are both at fault.

Do I see another perspective here? Priestly class have always dominated by fooling people. People need to come out of that. Absolutely.
