When the government only has 2 check boxes , one for Catholic board and other for no catholic board, it is indirectly endorsing the catholic religion.
If the government cannot directly support other religions by having their own school boards ,then i think what the muslim kids are doing is perfectly fine..
A little bit of prayer does not hurt anybody as long as it is not pushed on anyone else.

For one, yes, having a publicly funded Catholic board is a problem for me as well. But, I believe in the tax assessment form or some other form, you have a choice to choose where your tax dollars should go. I have chosen mine to be non-catholic english schools. Therefore, that problem, as far as I am concerned is not an issue that much.
Similarly, Windsor, for instance has private school(s) that do cater to Muslim students. No one objects to that because it is a pvt school and does not run off of my tax dollars.
This case however is about a public school. My grade school english teacher used to say, "if you want to sing, do it in the toilet". So, same thing applies for prayers too. The students who are hell bent on praying at school can do that in their own time. Not by using public's tax money.

True to certain extent what you are saying. However, why is it that a country has to bend over backwards to accommodate minority views when certain group of immigrants refuse to assimilate and adopt into their new country? It's not about intolerance. It is a case of pandering to political correctness at tax payer's expense rather than maintaining common sense.
Should it mean that the school boards should have prayer or comparable sessions for Hindus, Sikhs, Jews, Buddhists, etc, etc? There has to be a limit. Once again, no one is stopping anyone from praying. Just not at taxpayer's expense.
If this is so important in public schools, let there be a "Prayer Room" or "Reflections Room" such as the ones available at Detroit Airport or at one of my former workplaces. Whoever wants to pray can go there and do whatever regardless of religion and it is available and open for everyone on their own time, money and effort on a common basis.

Beware the students who are studying in that school (muslims) their parents also paying taxes.
secondly Toronto school board is not endorsing this. In all over north America including canada every university where there are muslim students they do perform their prayer in vacent hall. No tax payer money is utilized there.
You can claim a tax payer money being utilize in this activity if there is special security or other arrangement is done.
In down town toronto every office where there is practicing muslim working they do perform friday prayer in any empty conference room.So what a big deal.
Yes you can make a case by showcausing similar activity by teaching your kids to practice your religion and than conducting prayers. But I m sure thats not gonna happen.
well You can't treat the good people with same stick if you can't catch the bad guy.
So if a fraud baba in India fooling millions of innocent people in the name of religion I start calling all hindus fraud.
MNS doing stupid things in Mumbai will make all hindus stupid and arrogant.

Why not? It's perfectly OK to be intolerant in Pakistan, Saudi, Afganistan, Iraq...and zillion other Islamic states where minorities are treated with extreme Violence. But, 'we need the very best of freedoms, opportunities and tolerance from non-islamic countries'…Right?

Actually, it starts with 'a little bit of prayer' and gradutes over a period of time to blowing up the transit system. Am I wrong here?
It is clearly evident that, all these excessive praying is the cause of the growing anger and frustration among younger Islamic populations in every country around the globe. Why do you want to destroy the lives of next generation Muslims in Canada?

2. corporate businesses see profit in selling Halaal meat. Its sold in every major store. I guess go and do a picket march in front of Maple Lodge farms Walmart, Fresco, etc
