Congratulations ,

I think u travel by BA/Air France / Austrian Airlines taking a stop over at UK / France / Vienna for a week / two weeks periods .

Once in either of these three places you can visit the other 2 by either train / coach with in Europe (other than the UK) and to / fro UK on ferry / Train / Air ... ferry being the cheapest .

If visitng Venice (italy) visit Rome and some other cities also .

For more information check out following link to provide you with more than sufficient information http://www.tripadvisor.com/ListForums-g4-Europe.html

Sorry forgot to add for packages look at the sites of COSMOS or SOTC/Raj Travels (if you are a vegetarian) .

Congratulation on your citizenship. One option is to travel via London. Break your journey in London. In London, many offer daytrips to Paris. I know Cosmos offers day-trips. If you take a package, you will have to travel to all the cities in the itenery. You can find a Cosmos brochure in Flight Center offices. See if they have atrip that covers the cities you want.

The other option is travel yourself by Ero-rail. See if Euro-rail has promotion. Try to travel on your own from London to Paris. Spend few days in Paris and then take train to Venice.

Many package tours to Europe arranged by SOTC and you can join with them from London. You will pay tour price minus Airfare. After the tour finish you can continue as per your travel plans.
I did like that last year when I returned from Toronto. My tour started in London and ended in Paris. We paid only for the tour not Airfare.

Hi,

I am planning to go Europe in 2007 and I am looking for 7-8 days Tour but could not decided which cities are most important becasue every package has diffrent things.

Can somebody help me out with their experience ? What should I look at in the package ?

Regards,

Happpy

Having lived in Switzerland for a couple of years, I can tell you that 7-8 days for Europe is not enough. Try break journey in London/Paris for 7-8 days and see it properly. You will pay more for the air ticket. There is a lot of things to see in London itself. Paris is also very nice also. A lot depends upon what would you like to see. ( Beaches, Architecture, Carvings, Museums, art gallries, theme parks etc.
One thing to remember that Europe is very expensive. Not even close to what we are use to over here. Pari - Venezia is a long traing Journey about 20 hours by TGV.

I have seen many tours like Raj & SOTC in Europe where I got an oppurtunity to ask the people who took the tour. Sometimes they don't remember which country they saw what. Italy itself will take 7-10 days easily.

If I were you I will probably break journey in Paris and see disney park there. It is different then the one in the US. Kids just love it.
I hope this helps,

Mercury
