Have they assigned you "provisional exams" before you go for the experience committee interview or that's it? this should be the case if you have more than 10 years of experience.

Yes, there are all chances of waiver of provisional exams.
In my case, I had 12 years of experience in India and had to appear for the experience committee interview. I cleared the interview and did not give any of the exams. The only exam I gave was the Professional Ethics exams, which all have to give including the graduates from Canadian universities.
If the exams are assigned, you may have to give four exams, of which also, if you could clear first two exams with more than 70%, then the other two exams are waived, so you will end of giving only two exams.
Time wise, I am not sure how long it takes for an individual, it all depends on an individual capabilities.

Thanks a lot Sunil.
You, as I understand have a Master Degree also from India. Was it a requirement along with > 10 yrs experience for waiver of Provisional Exams. I am saying this b'cos I don't have a Master Degree.
In case provisional exams are assigned, what are the papers (subjects) which will cover these four exams? Does it(subjects) vary person to person?
